Thanks for the great pics ladies! They came out well. There might be one or two that I don't love of me but it's fine!

I had a great time! It was nice to meet all of you! Since I had only met Jax prior to today all of you were new to me!

Definitely need a round a table next time so that you can talk to eveyone.

Guys, please don't shoot me!!

I had the worst day of my life on Saturday...

I got up early on Saturday because I was going to go in early to my Mom's in Merrick, help her do some cleaning for my aunt's surprise 70th on Sunday and then meet you guys for lunch. So here I was, on the road by 7:00 a.m. with the baby all packed and ready to go. I was in my jammies, because hey, I was going to go to town on her bathroom before I met up with you guys. I didn't bring my stroller because I was going to pick up some stuff from her place and my cell had died so I didn't have that either. I got as far as Bayshore and the radio zapped out. I'm figuring 'Ahh crap, another thing I have to bring this damn thing in for...' and then thunk, thunk, BOOM. The thing went dead on me. I pull over quick. Now I'm nowhere near a phone, I'm in my PJ's and it smells like the start of an electrical fire I couldn't get the car doors open because they're electric, so I started panicking and looking for something to break out the windows. I finally got the locks undone, grabbed the baby out of the car and started the 1 1/2 mile walk back to the nearest payphone. Here I am struggling along the S.S. Pkwy with a baby in my arms, the diaper bag and my pocketbook. Somewhere about a half a mile into it, this wonderful good samaritan stopped and offered us a ride. I was very reluctant to get in the car with him but the thought of other options was not tempting. The car hadn't stalled in the best of locations, very little room on the side of the road and I was NOT getting back into it and hoping that a trooper came along. So we got in and he drove us up to DPA (thankfully I picked up the rest of my stuff from the car, clothes, etc.). I struggle into Dunkin' Donuts with everything, head into the bathroom to change into something suitable and started the calls around to see who could pick me up. Bob was out of town and thankfully I got hold of my brother who picked us up, waited for the tow truck to bring this POS to Atlantic Kia and then drive me home. He was late for his plans and I didn't know how to get in touch with any of you. I should have called the resturant but I was a wreck from all the drama. I had to pay the tow, I had NO MONEY and no phone and my f'ing credit card company was giving me $hit about processing the charge for the tow company. I cancelled that card because they called me SIX times this weekend to 'verify' the tow charges, the phone calls I made in a desperate attempt to contact someone. Ugghhh, what a mess!! I have no idea when I'll get the car back. I'm sure it's pretty screwed....I'm so sorry guys. You don't know how much I was looking forward to this
