Re: GTG - Saturday, April 28, 2007 @ Betsy's House
WOW! I love the sound of 'chocolates, nuts, jelly beans, gummy everything, lots of the stuff from childhood and all kinds of chocolate covered things' I'm game for any or ALL of that!
Their inventory is subject to change and there is always a new idea when I go there, but please tell me if there are special requests. Right now I am thinking:
jelly beans (I love banana ones)
sour gummy bears (it's been ages since i had them)
Choc. covered pretzels (white or milk chocolate or both???)
Other chocolate (I love non-pareils and maybe raisinets will be fun)
Cashews ????
They also have a few kinds of licorice and I think there are some dried fruits
BTW--when I bring one of these baskets into my house I have to put it in the office and LOCK the door so Oscar won't grab it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At holiday time I had like 5-6 of them for various businesses that I give baskets to. I delivered 1-2 each day, and the personal delivery was a nice touch. In the meantime, my house smelled like Melties, which are a kind of chocolate I had them put in. The O-man was crazy!!!!!!

I usually go for a lot of chocolate in the mix. Other things look prettier in the basket but who cares, right?

I LOVE white chocolate - so anything covered with white - esp pretzels.
I love red licorice
What about non sour gummy bears/worms?
If you want, Kerie - do you want to bring the basket here to avoid Oscar gettng into it?

We can do non-sour gummies. I may want some sour myself, too! I will be getitng the basket that day, or the night before, so I think I am fine to keep it here. I am just paranoid about the chocolate melting in my car, so I always bring the baskets inside until I am ready to take them. Even if it is cool outside, the sun can melt it.

I know there are going to be preggo ladies, but would the non-pregnant attendees like wine? I could bring that?
