I wear kids clothes sometimes too - teen clothes - because although I'm almost 32, when I am not working I like to wear cute casual clothes in style (ok - TRENDY) there is a place in plainview called Sandy's - my FH's daughter who is almost 15 goes there too - we like their clothes, although they are CRAZY expensive!!! But if you are looking for cute and hip clothing, it's a great place to go!

BTW - I used to be a size 18 in my early 20's - my body naturally lost the weight just thru healthy lifestyle (college life killed my body! LOL!) so I am always happy I am not as large as I was then, but things like that stick with you even when you have been 'thin' for a long time - I'm sure we as women can relate as victims of thin-conscience society!!!

I don't know anyone who's dress was a size 2 !!!!!!!!! Maybe 2 sizes bigger than what they norm wear but not a size 2!!!! I'm a 4 & they ordered me an 8. Don't let it bother you, they don't run true to size

They don't run true to size. Wedding dresses are just sized/made differently. I'm normally a four and they ordered me an eight.

See - if they ordered an 8, I would have been OK, and never would have even began this post (but it certainly got a lot of dialogue going - GO ME - aw yeeea) it was just when I ventured into double digits, I quietly freaked - thanks for assurance, everyone!!!

do u look and feel wonderful in your wedding dress??? I am sure you do!! thats all that matters

size shouldn't matter..but i know it must have been a little scary when you are a size 4 and they give you a size 10. Don't Sweat the Small Stuff :) all that should matter is how you feel in the dress!! HTH

Here's something weird- I have heard all this before - that wedding dress sizes are two or more sizes smaller than regular sizes but I just went to order my dress yesterday and the sales woman ordered me a 16 and in regular clothes I wear a 16 also. Should I be concerned?
