Have you every heard of a SNEEZE GUARD?

On my contract for my reception hall I have the option of signing the SNEEZE GUARD WAIVER.
I am having a sit-down dinner but I guess the SNEEZE GUARDs would be placed around the food displays and chafing dishes during cocktail hour.
Has anyone ever gotten a sneeze guard?
Should I waive this?

Maybe I didn't read my contract close enough but I do not recall anything about a sneeze guard!!

Acc. to health regulations, restaurants can't have food hanging out...That's why food is always in glass/plastic showcases.
I only know this bc FH's family owns a couple restaurants and I heard FH yelling at someone that the bagels had to be moved b/c there was no sneezeguard!
But...I have never seen sneeze guards at weddings or any other events....
