I'm partial because I'm going to be a Giorgio's bride, but the place is GORGEOUS! It's one wedding at a time, which is KEY in my opinion and is away from main roads and traffic. The view is breathtaking, the room is so elegant with chandliers. Not to mention you have the golf course, garden and beach for pictures. I love that the deck wraps around the cocktail and reception room (glass windows) so people can enjoy the scenary and be right outside your room. They are also very fair with their pricing too. Definitely check them out!

They all sound like great catering places. I only been though to the Hamlet in Commack and that was great. I heard wonderful things about the Carlyle. You can FM MVecchio and ask her about her wedding at Giorgios. She just got married there recently.

Welcome and Congratulations! I agree with all that has been said...plan! plan! plan! It's really a shame but vendors know planning a wedding is very emotional, so kind of appeal to your emoitons...then all of a sudden you find you want things...and are discussing things...you never thought of 'needing' and are way above budget...at least we did!

Hamlet Willow Creek is totally booked for Sat nights next fall! Wow, the place isn't even open yet. I made some appointments to see some places yesterday, and you are all right, this site is addicting.

Anyone ever been to a wedding at The Woodlands? It's in Oyster Bay.
