First things first, don't freak out!!!!You can skip your period, and it SHOULD be ok, hoewver, when I tried to do that, I ended up spotting for a whole month. It was terrible.
If you are the type who never spots, then you're OK, but depending on your honeymoon plans, you might be better off having it for the wedding and not the honeymoon!

Just start a new pack the day after you use the last 'real' pill. You will be fine!
Ditto! Ditto!

Another idea is stop taking them a week early. I do that for vacations. Instead of taking the last week of active pills I force my period to come early. Then I'm sure it won't magically appear when I don't want it. My doctor told me to do it so I'm guessing it's ok. Good luck.

Whetever you do, try it out a few months before your wedding. If you take continuous birth control pills (no placebos) you may have an adjustment period in which you get headaches, spotting or whatever. I'm not sure I would do that for the first time at my wedding.

Just know the side effects of doing this. I did this 3 months before my wedding and I had terrible side effects!!!
My chest was SOOO sore and swollen to a size bigger, I was all bloated and spotted for weeks.
Sorry to share this bad experience...but I would have wanted someone to tell me.
I was free period free on wedding day and back to normal though.
I had side effects too--spotting, horrible breaking out which I never have, swollen chest...I did it 3 mos. in advance so I was OK by the wedding month, but it was not fun for a while...
I don't want to make you feel bad, but I tried this once when I went on vacation and I spotted the whole time. It was worse than my period because it lasted longer and I didn't know when it would end
You should probably try it for a couple months also to get rid of the side effects and ask a Gynocologist

Re: help ladies...I just realized I am going to get my 'Friend' on my wedding day
I'll just say that I have moved my period on my own. I needed one more week with no period, opened up another patch (Im not on the pill, BTW I love the patch) and stuck it on. It worked. Then I had a period week, then I started a new patch the week after that. (So all in all I used a 3 week patch for 1 week) Ive heard of girls doing that with pills too, just open a new pack and keep going. I dont know if it will screw you up in any way... I was fine... I would ask your doc about any risks first but it can be done... :) Good Luck

I have to agree! I don't know if I'd do it ALL the time but it can and you should do it! You only have 1 Honeymoon!

Re: help ladies...I just realized I am going to get my 'Friend' on my wedding day
I planned my wedding around my 'friend' too. I should call it an enemy because I get such bad PMS. I mainly did it to avoid the awful symptoms of PMS...I get soooo bloated and not to mention I am in the worst mood!!Welcome New Vendors
