i like the 2nd one better, and i think, based on your body type, that it would look Beautiful on you!!!
its going to be chilly though... are you getting a pashmina too? (just something to keep in mind so you dont freeze your hiney off)

Yes, I hope it's not too chilly but I'll get a wrap or a little jacket. Last two years around Halloween it was 70s - I'm really hoping for a third year in a row.

Just ordered actually what I want - only this is it will be huge on me. Do you think a seamstress can make this from a 10 into a 2? PLEASE SAY YES - I love it!

that would be a huge alteration! I wonder how much it would end up costing? It's very pretty though.

I know, but I don't care about the cost b/c I got it for $200 from overstock and it was originally $600. I'll pay whatever I need to have that dress fit me perfectly

i once had a seamstress make a dress from an 8 to a 4 and it cost me $45.

I'm SO hating you right now for your little 'Size 2 dilema!!!'a 10 to a 2 is a HUGE difference......she's going to have to take apart and remake the whole dress.......it can be done, but you'll have to find a GOOD seamstress. Don't just take it to the dry cleaner or something !!

I had a size 10 altered to a size two!!! A good seamstress can do it!God, I LOVE THAT DRESS!!! I AM SO JEALOUS. can I have it when you're done? My rehearsal dinner is the day of your wedding!

Absolutely!
Honestly, I am the go-to girl for dresses. All my friends come to me when they have a formal occasion b/c I'm an a** and buy a new dress for absolutely everything. So 2005 ladies, if you ever need to borrow - let me know! I've got a great variety of evening and cocktail dresses and absolutely no concern about a stain or tear. Seriously!
