HELP - Memory Cards

Hi Ladies and Gents. I mailed my invitations out a week ago and I forgot to put in a small memory sheet (I was sending to close relatives and friends only, a small sheet with "A Favorite Memory with Kate" on it and the same for my fiance's side. I forgot to put them in the envelopes to the close relatives. Can I mail them out seperately with Stamped return envelopes, or is this tacky. I want them for the reception and memories. I was going to post them on a pretty fabric board at the reception for people to read, etc. Should I send them out as little note cards with return envelopes.
