Re: Hey 2005 Brides -

Hey girls! I can't believe that in a few weeks it'll be 2 years since my wedding day! it feels like yesterday that I was crazy planning. Anyway, Vin and I bought our house a few months before the wedding and it is now completely renovated (well, for the most part). And we are expecting a baby (March 6)!! So far, marriage has been wonderful and I'm loving life right now! I'm on LIF too as Tonia.

I'm so excited to see this post, I was wondering how a lot of 05ers were doing! I'm so happy to see that everyone is well!

Re: Hey 2005 Brides -

LOVING this post and the updates and all the babies!!!

DH and I are still living outside of DC (in house that he bought eight years ago---been making it OURS!!!). LOVING married life--we celebrated our two year anniversary and 10 year dating anniversary over the summer....

only thing I am conceiving right now is my dissertation proposal--trying to knock that out before we got to TTC. Finished PhD coursework and DH is in his second year of MBA/MSF program.

On here ALOT since I am MOH for my sister who is getting married in 07...never got into LIF (more of a DC Nest girl).

We are here for now but toying with ideas of moving back to LI someday.

Re: Hey 2005 Brides -

Hi guys I can not believe it is going to be Two Years. Time just flew. We are doing well, we purchased our new home in December and have been in a world wind redoing it from top to bottom. It has been a long project but it is almost complete. We are not TTC right now because I need to finish up school, but we are loving life and doing a little bit of traveling. I am so glad to see all the cute babies, it seems like the last 2 years have been great for many of us.

Re: Hey 2005 Brides -

Hi All!

Being on LIW definitely reminds me of being so obsessed with wedding plans!

You all had some wonderful suggestions and my wedding is still memorable to many people. Thank you so much - again!

Still happily married, trying to still fix up our house (finally ripped up the green shag carpet that was in our bedroom ) and things are finally looking great!

Congrats to all of you who have beautiful babies, they are adorable

Once in a while I sit back and think 'this marriage thing is great!'

I feel really blessed.

Happy 2 years everyone!!

Re: Hey 2005 Brides -

What a great post! So good to see how everyone is doing. I just ran over here real quick to post my update.

Everything is wonderful and so much has happened in these last two years. Our two year anniversary is on Tuesday (can't believe how fast time flies). We bought a house in Nassau and had a baby boy, Lucas, on May 27, 2007. He's the love of our life. I feel very blessed to have my DH and DS.

Here's my little guy:

Re: Hey 2005 Brides -

WOW....time sure flies!

I'm over on LIF under AriesChick29.
My 2 year anniversary is coming up in a few months

Since our wedding DH and I have traveled a bit. DH started teaching at our old college besides working at IBM. I am still an elementary teacher but now in 3rd grade.

We are starting the house hunting here upstate and will discuss TTC in November.

We are taking our time with everything but enjoying every second together.

I miss the old board and gtg's but am so happy to see everyone flourishing and starting new families!

Re: Hey 2005 Brides -

I was never an avid poster, but all of the 05 brides were a great help.

We bought our first home together last March and finally made the move to LI. (I'm LIBOUND on LIF).

We are expecting our first child, a son in February.

I am so excited and love to hear about all of the 05 brides!!

Re: Hey 2005 Brides -

I also cannot believe that it's two years already!
Married life ROCKS! This has by far been the happiest time in my life.

I love seeing all the beautiful kiddies the 05 mommies have!

We still live in NJ, working on the house never seems to end. We've been TTC for a year now, just did our first IUI this past cycle... sadly though it didn't work We have our first appointment with the RE in October. It's funny, I look back at wedding planning and laugh at how stressed out I was and how important it was to have the exact color napkins to match the girls dresses,,,,etc...not so important in the long run. Although, I do admit from time to time, I miss being a bride. But I wouldn't trade what I have now for anything!

Re: Hey 2005 Brides -

Hi Everyone!!! Well, I changed my user name from JennieSunshine, but it's still me DH and I just celebrated our 2 year anniversary this summer. Married life is fantastic and we really made the right choice moving back to Manhattan after the wedding. It was easy to transition out of wedding-planning mode since I had a new apartment to decorate

It's so great to hear all of your updates and to see how many of you have started families It's so strange to me that just 2 years ago we were all planning our weddings and these new little people didn't even exist. Things really change in 2 years!! As for DH and I, we're sticking with the furbabies for another couple of years

Re: Hey 2005 Brides -

It is so wonderful to see this. I miss all my wonderful 05 ladies!

DH & I are doing very well. It's hard to believe that we've been married almost 2 and a half years already! Time flies when you are having fun and I feel as blessed to be married to DH as I did on our wedding day. No babies in the near future for us but we have 3 dogs and are living in our house in Suffolk. We both recenly started new jobs and are enjoying them.

Love all the adorable 05 babies What a gorgeous group!

Love to all
