crate, Bloomies and fortunoff

people are buying from them all

We did the same 3. I don't think 3 is too many at all. Each store has different merchandise, different styles, different prices.

I think 3 is fine. I agree it gives guests more options as to where to shop as opposed to having to order online and pay for shipping because the store you picked was too far away. It's not like people have to buy everything you register for, so I don't know why it would bother anyone that you are registered in a few places.

We did the exact 3 you want to do (bb&b, crate&barrel and fortunoff) and when we had our e-party we got gifts from all 3. Just go for it!!

I think 3 is fine, especially since any OOT guests might not know what Fortunoffs is and Crate and Barrel is not that convenient for Long Islanders to get to either. I would make sure that there are lots of stuff on BBB though. From my experience, I liked more of a choice when I had to buy off the registry, and especially things in the $50-$100 range. Enjoy

I have 2 already, Macys and BB&B. We're going to add Fortunoff after Christmas...so IMO 3 is definitely not too much. BB&B seems the most popular place to shop so far.

I just had my shower and I am glad I had 3.

I got the most from BBB but they were all worth doing.

I have one now, Fortunoff, and I may possibly add bloomies. (even though I love williams sonoma). M wedding is rather small (115 guests) and I'm really only planning on gifts for my shower.-- so I don't want to bombard them... yet on the other hand fortunoff is only in NY/NJ so maybe another store would be a good idea? I guess that doesn't help you!

DO whatever you want. Its YOUR wedding!! Your actually helping your guests out because you are giving them more options to choose from. All those stores are great.
