I am going to start about 6 months after we get married. I am 24 and want to be young when I have my children. Also, we have lived together for about 4 years, so we had plenty of time together before we have kids.

right away, Ill be 30 when we get married, and time is ticking away!

Although selfishly, I am almost hoping I don't get pregnant right away, as I have a Disney family reunion in Jan. 2007, and I dont want to be a big fatso that cant go on rides on that trip.

But baby is wayyy more important, so we shall see!!

at least five years. i'm only 23, and we want to enjoy our time as newlyweds...but i've had cousins that had babies right after they got married and they couldn't be happier.

I'm almost 30 and FH will be 33 when we get married and will have been together for almost 10 years when we get married, so I think we might start trying right away!!!!

We will wait 2+ years, we want to be selfish for a while, travel, spend $, go out, do all those things we LOVE to do!

2 years tops.

We're getting married a month before I turn 32, and FH will be 33. I want to be able to keep up with my kids. I want to have 2 kids, one at 33-34 and the second at 36 and then call it quits after that.

My parents are in no rush because they have 2 grandaughters and another grandaughter on the way, so now the pressure is on me to give them a grandson!! However, FH's parents I know will be pushing us, as FH's brother is gay, so he won't be giving them any grandchildren anytime soon, so their only hope is us!!!

I would like to try sooner, rather than later, but I really want to be a stay-at-home mom, so I guess when the finances are in good shape...

I wanted to right away but FH wants to wait.
He wants to make sure we are financially stable so he does have a point. But I really can't wait. So what ever happens, happens. I am not getting any younger.

We're trying asap. FH is 40 so we really don't want to wait to have baby!

I have to go have some blood tests done before I try to conceive to make sure that I am not a carrier for certain genetic disorders that are of my cultural background.

Me too, especially since my brother just had a scare with his pregnant wife.

I'm going to be 32 when I get married so I will start trying a year after the wedding.

Don't know if we're having kids.... DH is a big kid in himself. But if we did, probably 2 years.....
