I am having a full waterfall veil for the ceremony and then keeping a shoulder length veil coming out from under my hair all night (taking off the big waterfall)

My veil is up to my knees and I am planning to have it on until the ceremony, then it is gone.

7-11...I had a very simple one tier fingerlength veil that I kept on all night.

I am having a long cathedral length one tier veil.I would've kept it on for the first dance but since my dress has those cool armbands w/the shawl attached, that will look so pretty during my dance, and that's what I'm keeping on during the reception.

i have a 1 tier veil, and im afraid its just so light and airy that it will be more annoying to keep on all night, what do u think?

I hardly even noticed my veil all night. As long as it is on your head securely, it won't be a problem. It being light and airy was the best part...didn't weigh down my head all night!

Thanks girls. Anyone else have to wear their veil for a loooonnng period of time before their ceremony for pictures?

I think the 1 tier veil is OK to keep on all night if it's not a catherdral.Karen M and we're both using Janet King

I had a one tier cathedral (no blusher) and I really regretted not having second, shorter veil to wear at the reception. I didn't expect to, but I loved having my veil on!Mine was too long to do our first dance in (lots of twirls), so I took it off after the ceremony.
