I am going to wait till my tenure year to conceive and since I am switching schools.. it will be 2 years. Ill be 27 then.

I already have one darlig little boy, I am waiting at least 2-3 more years before I have another one. He is enough to handle as it is and he is not even out of diapers yet.

About 2.5-3 years...want to buy a home and enjoy it just the two of us for a bit...

We want to start trying right away. We will both be 30 when we get married. And there are some health reasons too...Doc said we need to get MOVIN. We live together already though, and did the whole puppy thing, so we have had our time, now it's time for our child.

We plan on waiting at least 3 years for the same reason. My parents had me right away (only 7 monthes later, you do the math) and I think they regret not having a little bit of time to themselves.
You need to get used to living with eachother (if you aren't already) before throwing a baby into the mix.

We both say atleast 3 years.. we will both just have our masters when we get married, and be finishing our first year teaching. I worked way too hard to get this degree to go out on maternity leave during my 'tenure' years.. hehe. Plus, it will be the first time that we live together just him and I, so it definitely calls for being selfish and cherishing our alone years. Our family of 2 will be just perfect.. .

My future hubby and I have never really discussed this, however we both want children really bad. I am going to answer this for myself...I say two years that way we get to know each other and celebrate married life together before throwing any thing else into the mix!!

We are waiting at least 4-5 years, Ill be 25 when we get married, so we'll probably try when im 29-30..There are so many things that we want to do and need to do (house, a job for me) before we can start having kids..

I have baby fever right now and I'm only 22 (ill be 23 next month) and 24 when i'm married...i was goin to post this question also.
i would love to have one right away, but everyone tells me to wait 1 year or 2...i would like to have one after a year...no im lying.
i want a honeymoon baby, dammit!!!!!

i sooooo want a hm baby!!! but, we don't have a place to live as of now and we cannot afford to start looking yet - so it'll be a few years after we're married. but i'll be 30 this year and i really don't want to wait too long after that

As much as I would love a honeymoon baby, FH wants to wait a few months after we get back from the honeymoon to start trying. I told him that my age won't help things (I'll be close to 36 by then) and you drop fewer eggs as you get older. I have never been pregnant, and I do not know how long it will take or if we will have any problems.

I already have an RX for blood work for prenatal genetic testing as we are both of Ashkenazi Jewish (Eastern European) descent and many genetic disorders are associated with our heritage. He knows that once I test negative, then we are free to procreate as we see fit. I will not however trick him into having a baby until we are both ready. That would be a disaster.

My FI and I will be 22 when we get married. We have plenty of time to have kids which is great. We have discussed it and we both want it when I will be 29 or 30.

About 2 years, FH and I want to have time to enjoy just being married 'being MR. & MRs. for a little while' and being able to travel and just enjoy each other first.
