I went to five places. I had a really hard time picking a dress because I'm so picky and nothing felt like 'the one.' I definitely don't think there is a 'right' amount of places to look at...when you've found the dress, you'll know. The only reason to keep looking then would be to compare prices.

Oh good! I feel so much better!! I really loved that dress -- it just may be the one!!

I had a feeling when I tried it on that it was the one. Plus I didn't want to look anywhere else. I find the more options I have the more I get confused. Then I have doubts.

One. And I regret it only because I bough the dress so far in advance and have seen others that I've liked. Once you get it STOP looking.

i went to 3 places. I had fallen in love with a dress at the 1st place, but thought I should keep looking. I compared everything else I put on to this dress and ended up going back there and ordering it. It just made me more sure of my decision! you'll know if you've found 'the one'. Good luck!

A lot...it took me 7 months to find my gown...I was super picky.

I went to a total of four places. I found a dress I absolutely LOVED on the internet. I called all over LI to find it. One bridal shop had it - Beautiful Bride in Lynbrook. I tried it and @ 6 other dresses on. Then I went to a Vera Wang sample sale. The one dress I loved was a size 2!!!! Sorry, but even if I became anorexic I couldn't fit into a size 2. Then I went to Princess Bridals in Farmingdale. Then I went to Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. I would say that total I tried on 2 dozen dresses.

I ordered that very first dress I tried on that I had found on the internet from Burton's Bridal in Huntington. I can say, that if I hadn't gone to those other stores and tried on all those other dresses, I would be second guessing myself today, and beating myself up over not looking around.

I went to three: bridal salon of manhasset, vera wang, and kleinfelds.

I would suggest shopping around, to make sure the dress you order is really the one you want, and to make sure you are getting the right price.

I went to 3 places, was supposed to go to a 4th but fell in love with my dress at the 3rd place and bought it, have no regrets.

OMG, I went to like 10 places and had an appt at at 11th, but I finally found the 'one' after all those places and cancelled the Kleinfeld's appt.

I had a tough time. For me, all the dresses I tried on were beautiful, but just not perfect for me.
