Quit cold turkey- it's been a month now. Not as bad as i thought it would be but i do have these dreams about me having a smoke

Being around people who smoke doesn't bother me much

btw- smoked for about 12 years- approx a pack every 2 days.

This is so funny b/c for the first 6 months I would still smoke in my dreams, even though I did not crave a cig IRL....weird how your mind works, isn't it?

I am a smoker Z

I DONOT smoke in the car, and I DONOT smoke in the apartment!

I only smoke at work, probably about 4-5 cigarettes a day, just to get away from the computer for some time!

I only smoke on the weekends, if I am out drinking at a friends house or at a bar...... but we haven't been out in months!

So, I don't smoke that much. DH smokes too, but even less than me.

I don't know why we don't just quit.....I think it is the beer! and the stress of work that gets to us.

When we decide to have children in the FAAAARRRRR!!!! future, we will definately quit! At least I will anyway!^

I don't smoke. I kind of tried once in the 9th grade, mostly to get my stupid friends off my back about it. I don't think I even really inhaled though.

Ets..The best thing I could have EVER done! (Besides hitting on DH back in the day before he noticed me).

smoking is DISGUSTING!! I cant stand it!! I used to smoke once in a very bluw moon when id drink... i dont even know why. i hate myself for doing that. Theres nothing more trashy than a bride in her dress smoking!! i saw this horrible pic of a bride getting ready smoking a cig and drinking Jack outta the bottle. eww

I am glad this is posted, it was posted even before my Dr. app't I got pills to try to help me stop, I was at the Dr. for another reason but asked about smoking and they gave me some samples, I think I have to be ready though, I am going to wait to try the pills, maybe set a date like 10/1 or something.

I smoked for 9 years. Never had too much of a reason to quit until one day I woke up to FH (then BF) making the most awful face because of the stench coming from my body. This was after a particularly long night of smoking. That was a year and a half ago

Would like to say that I haven't had a butt since but that's not the case. Dropped down to one or 2 when I was drinking but I haven't even taken a drag since sometime around May.
