Re: How much did you pay for your gown?

A little over 2000 which I think is great considering its custom made. My veil, headpiece, slip and alterations are all included as well.

Re: How much did you pay for your gown?

I spent $4600 on my Priscilla of Boston dress.
I still have to pay for alterations too!
Then there's the veil and tiara!
I was so committed to spending less than $1200 but my mom and I went and just decided to go for it.
I do feel kind of guilty. It's lace so unless my daughter is the same height as I am - she won't be able to wear it either.

I got my shoes for free through some friends of the family who own a shoe store but that didn't make a huge difference. They said they'd help me get a discount on my veil and tiara too.

Still way over budget though.

Re: How much did you pay for your gown?

$2800 for the dress, veil, tiara and alterations (incl. bustle). $50 for the bra and I still have to get shoes. Much more than I wanted to spend, but I absolutely love my dress

Re: How much did you pay for your gown?

The gown I think I'll get is $650. Anything over $1,000 is too expensive for me. But that's why I'm planning to go to a sample sale.

Re: How much did you pay for your gown?

$4500 incl. alterations. I am fortunate enough to have my mom pay for my dress. She is a very generous and thoughtful mom --especially since I blew her budget by almost $1500!

Re: How much did you pay for your gown?

$595.00 without sales tax

$150.00 for alterations without sales tax.

It was way below my budget as I wanted both the cost of the gown and the cost of alterations to be below my limit of $1,000.00.

Re: How much did you pay for your gown?

If I could afford to spend $4,000 on a dress, I would be so happy. I can't even fathom spending $2000 for photography.

$580 for the dress with tax. My mom might make me my headpiece and veil so I'm not sure how much that costs yet.

Re: How much did you pay for your gown?

My gown was $1500 and my veil and tiara cost $500 all together. But because I used a house vendor that was affiliated with my catering hall, I recieved $200 off the price.

Re: How much did you pay for your gown?

My dress was $700 plus tax. The veil and headpiece cost $250. The alterations and bustle were $250. Shoes were $45 and bra was $30 so all in all it cost me about $1275 which I think was a pretty good deal.
