Maribelle, we haven't received the proofs yet. The last two pictures were taken in the bridal suite at the end of the night by a friend. I love them also.

I love seeing the pictures you added. That Greek church is so beautiful. I love those floral arrangements at the altar, and the pew decorations too. Did the florist decorate the church for you? Oh... and all the candles are really pretty. Where did you buy them? They all look great in the pictures.

I agree with Peaboby. Your daughter is an amazingly lucky girl. Not every mother is so giving and un-selfish toward their daughter's wedding.

MomNeedsTissues - Your turn is coming soon. I'm waiting to hear about your son's wedding and to see some pictures. I hope all the details are working out. Your second wedding (your daughter's) is in October. My son's will be in November.

Brideshelper - my daughter, her two MOH's and I put up the tulle and the pew bows the night before the wedding. I made the bows far in advance and it all was very easy to put everything together in church. I'd say decorating the church was actually the easiest and more noticeable of everything we did for the wedding. The coordinator put in the flowers the following morning.

Thanks for noticing the candles. I actually decorated them myself. We couldn't find anything my daughter liked. Originally we wanted to decorate them with fresh flowers, but I couldn't exactly work it out in my mind so we went with tulle, ribbons and silk flowers.

You will find many Greek shops in Astoria that carry decorated candles of all sizes. Also, Portara on Bell Blvd. has some and she can probably make them up as you like.
