OMG...that sounds soooo yummy!

Funny thing about 'pigs in a blanket'...Jericho Terrace doesn't really do 'passed horsd' oeuvres' but I *had* to have coconut shrimp and pigs in a blanket during the CH...to make it 'fancier' I asked that they be passed. JT was hesitant (they like to overfeed people and make everything a station) but they obliged. Lo and behold the day of my wedding what was the hardest thing to find? Yup...the pigs in a blanket! They were a huge hit and the servers couldn't refill the trays fast enough! This bride never tasted them! I did have a coconut shrimp...holy cow...my DH wanted a full plate of just that! LOL

So, my super long story was just a way of saying...congrats on the menu choices and the Bourne doesn't know 'people' because your guests will LOVE the pigs in a blanket!

Well, funny story - I actually requested mini hamburgers aka sliders and the guy was totally appalled! They are such a huge hit with my friends and I know they would love them, but it wasnt worth the argument. He was like- I'll ask the chef, but he might refuse. It's not the kind of food that goes with the whole feel of an elegant affair. Whatever dude.... Then he said that they do have pigs in a blanket, but they were at the way bottom of this list. I said - I'LL TAKE 'EM!!!
