USUK...isn't Michael great? He just made us feel so at ease, and FH said the same thing about how freakishly neat his office is (and I mean that in the best way possible). We booked him on the spot. Didn't even look at any other DJs...just whipped out the checkbook and signed the agreement.

GO Michael.

I loved him.. so I just have to add the third recommendation. There's a lot on here about folks who used him and loved him and people who have booked him and are so impressed!

We also are using Music by Michael as well. He really will take the time for your wedding. If there are certain songs you want to be played during cocktail hour, dinner and recption, he will do it. He also does not have the typical dj look.

We are using a veyr good friend of ours who owns a whole wedding center but began as just DJs. Thye have been in business for around 10 years i think. Anyway, they are absolutley amazing! Their name is Twice as Good and their website is twiceasgoodent.com, i think. Anyway, check them out!

ME TOO. DAsh of class is defintely one of the best. They know how to preent themselves. From the moment I walked in the door I knew they what they were doing. It looked like a television studio. I am so happy I booked them.

I booked Spin Around Sound; I didn't see their work but their references were outstanding. Each person said that everybody at their reception was dancing; even people that usuallly don't dance! One girl on this site said that she had deaf people on the floor dancing! LOL! Make sure you book Tom he is the owner. He has gotten great reviews on this site if you do a search. He is not overbearing at all, very little MCing, no cheesy antics. That is the first thing he puts in his advertisements. Good luck!

Variety music does a fine job I found them at a bridal expo....the only good thing I ever found at one of those expo's! I went to their office, and saw a video of the work too, they are very good and worked out a great price for us!

I am using castle entertainment.....tey do a live demo for you in their sound room, they even have the lights & special effects set up, so you get a good idea of how they work. FM me if you want their info.

I'm using Classie Sounds Entertainment in Brooklyn. One of the owners is a friend of mine - he's a workaholic, perfectionist type (right up my alley) and he knows how to throw a party! (I've seen him work a few times so I know I'll be happy!)

After some researching, I have to make a correction -- MY BAD EXPERIENCE WAS NOT WITH LET US ENTERTAIN YOU --- IT WAS WITH A DIFFERENT DJ COMPANY WITH A VERY SIMILAR NAME. I CONFUSED THEM. PLEASE FORGIVE MY CONFUSION AND KNOW THAT nylisa's POSITIVE EXPERIENCE AND RECOMMENDATION STILL STANDS.

alixgirl -- I finally found a DJ I love!!! You should check them out too, they specialize in multicultural weddings (like mine) and they play all the music you listed.

Elegancia Entertainment

They were thoroughly professional and even worth the drive to Brooklyn.

Thanks guys. I finally found a DJ or should I say my cousin did. My cousin is in the music business and has heard this guy play at a couple of parties. He didn't know if the guy did weddings but he does so YAY!!! One more thing off my list
