I see that you are using an email AOL address. In the event you are using AOL to connect to the internet as well, you are probably just experiencing the effects of AOL's proxy caching system. AOL servers cache (or store) internet files (such as your avatar) that have been requested via their online service, then feed them to their users when they are requested again. They do this rather than making a trip to the current file on our server in an effort to conserve their bandwidth usage. In a nutshell, it may take a day or so for you to see the updated image. The image you emailed to us is in fact that one that is currently appearing as your chat avatar to everyone else. If you are interested in clearing your browser cache, check out some of these Yahoo search results.
