awwww... leslie, thats so sweet. My parents weren't married long. Its beautiful they lasted and had a full marriage. Have a special dance with your mom, you both deserve it!

I wish I could but she may be wheelchair bound for the day. She coming home on a Cessna on Tuesday and right into rehab. I will cross my fingers!

Omg Leslie, your parents were the epitomy of class and elegance on their wedding day!!

Now I can see why you want a very formal wedding, it runs in the family!!!

my parents were of the hippie generation, so their wedding attire reflected that....
my grandparents weddings pics are more of the classic kind.
i dont have a scanner, so sorry no pics!

my mom's college roommate made her dress. her bo-k was daisies and she had daisies in her hair. they had a sunday afternoon wedding at a hotel in upstate ny.

I don't have any to post at the moment. But my parents were married in 1973 in my grandparents backyard, under a parachute, which they used as a tent. My dad wore a dark denim suit and my mom bought a very thrift store looking dress and wore this weird sort of flowery wreath/hat thing on her head. Very hippyish.
