Jess&Joey - Congratulations - You looked amazing!!!! I can't believe you had to buy another dress, but it was perfect for your wedding.

I have been awaiting your review of Atlantica and am glad everything went smoothly (despite the Tuscan table. ) It looked beautiful, classy, elegant. Please post some proofs when you get them!

Eric Peterson lives in huntington...now I'm not sure where he was from originally. He's married to Brigit (who I work with...)

As for Bridal reflections (Carle Place) they treated me very poorly!!! They were snotty and kept ignoring my requests. as you can tell by my pics..it was a small informal wedding..including the dress. So when I picked out a brides maid dress they insisited I get fitted on that side. Fine whatever. So when I called for my first fitting..they kept asking who the bride was (they thought I was being fitted for a bridesmaid)...I kept telling them over and and over it was informal..blah blah...Very annoying and made me feel like crap.
Needless to say my fitting comes and they keep me waiting for 40 mins. They can't find my dress. Afetr an hour they realize that they pulled the Jessica Smith bridal party not me the bride (stinks having a common last name so glad it's changed!!!)
So They told my mother and I to go eat dinner and they'd bring the dress from a warehouse...(*we live in suffoolk and it was a weeknight)
Finally I got fitted at 7:30 from my 4:00 appointment..
And because I was soooo pi**ed they finally put me on the bride side!!! Shouldn't I have been there all along regardless of the price of my dress?

Anyway they ordered the wrong size so the dress reallllly had to be taken in it looked awful

second fitting...they took it in too much under the arm pits and it cut off my circulation...the seams they sewed puckered throughout the whole flat front. I cried and told my mom I could not get married in this dress (I thought it was jinxed after the whole ordeal...) They insisted they could fix it but I had had enough and just paid for it and left as is. So I would never have to see them again. They weren't helpful or understanding..they just took my balance for the dress and let me take that piece of cr*p home. So that's where it still is...in the bridal bag (which replaced the clear plastic after I threw a fit...)
I went out and bought something off the rack and had my dress altered by a family friend...
Best decision of my life!!!!
I just think that they should have treated me kindly regardless of how much money I was spending...a bride should be treated like a bride.

You looked so BEAUTIFUL. It looked like a PERFECT wedding. I love Atlantica, but it is too far from me.

wow...sorry about the bad bridal shop experience... but in the end you looked absolutely gorgeous!!!
