Pinina will find something. If she doesn't, maybe go with the expensive lace (I know, I know, it's a cost)...and have the dress you want, so you can be comfortable and happy! and know what to expect..less anxiety. No matter what, in the end, it will not cost 5,500! My 2 cents. I know you would have been happy with the first lace, already!

mine will probably be just as expensive, maybe more b/c I need embroidery and beading....

it's only the bodice anyway....a few hundred extra will not kill us- given the cost of the original, I'd say go with the best price AND quality and go with your favorite. we've already done ourselves a huge favor by not spending thousands....don't chintz yourself any more than that!

I think that is because it is against the white clothes.

Oh yeah, the original dress in the pic are ivory - so you're not mistaken.

All the pics I have of the dress are in ivory, I will be doing white.

UPDATE

So, I went to Lace Star yesterday after work and found the EXACT lace Monique has. The guy was very helpful, and it's mucho expensive ($125 per yeard) - so, he made me a copy of the lace, and giving it to my dress maker when I see her next Saturday to match exactly and hopefully get cheaper.
