Someone added their child (about 4 or 5 years old) who was not invited!! She wrote Mr. and Mrs. X and son X!! Actually put an exclamation point at the end, underlined son X, and wrote a 3 and circled it! I was totally shocked! I feel like she could have at least called and asked. Unbelieveable!
I KNOW!!!! One of our Guests invited ALL of their children!!! (4) I was SHOCKED!!!!

They are actually my brother's in-laws, but our families have been close for years (which is how he met his wife). This is why we decided not to make a big deal over it.

Don't get me wrong, I was pissed...and still think it was completely wrong of her to do, but I don't want to cause problems for my brother. They are going to spend their night taking care of a baby and we will be enjoying our wedding!

So rude!! It actually happened with my responses. My aunt sent her back saying '5', meanwhile I only invited her, her boyfriend and her 2 daughters. Don't know who the '5th' person is? I've asked my parents and they have no idea. Guess this will be an interesting conversation during my shower.

I'm sorry but I would never do that, nor would I bring my 3 year old to a wedding. I don't mind kids at the wedding don't get me wrong. we are inviting kids, but 3 years old is a baby

Wow, you're a lot nicer than I am...I definitely would've called her and told her that her son isn't invited (especially after she was EXTRA rude by underlining and putting exclamation points).
People have such nerve...
I never understand why people think they are entitled to bring their children everywhere they go, and then act as if the host is rude for not inviting their bratty kids.

I am crossing my fingers not to get one of those type of responses. I am not as sweet as some of you ladies. I would pick up the phone and tell the family members that they should realize that their kid was not invited.
