Can I say the Amalfi Coast - Italy?

If I had to stay here - North Carolina (doing it!) Northern California, Colorado, anywhere where the cost of living is low and the quality of life is high (read: not the northeast!)

It would have to be warm. Maybe Florida, South Carolina or North Carolina. Has to to be near the ocean though.

New Mexico, Nevada or Florida!! DH and I loved the atmosphere in New Mexico and Nevada when we were there on our honeymoon. And Florida, well, I always wanted to live there, and I have so much family there that I would love to get closer with!!

Well it's not exactly another state but I would move Upstate. I'm big on nature and camping. I always feel so relaxed there.

We live in NC now. We've been here for 5.5 years now. We love it, but it's starting to get more expensive. I'm not sure what other state I'd like to live in. I've been thinking about it though. I couldn't move back to NY. Too dirty and expensive. Where I live there isn't any garbage on the ground at all! And very nice landscaping. They go all out here.

Re: If you could move to another state (money/family wasn't an issue) what state would it be?

All you girls who said you would Never move back to NY, I am just curious, WHY?

Also, if you where to move out of the USA, would you and Why?

I always pictured myself living in Europe but don't know how I would feel by leaving NY and the US.

I have no idea where I would live. I was so used to living in Hampton Bays and having the water surrounding me on both sides. The water and the air are great over there. I live in Selden now and I hate the water, yuk and it doesn't feel the same, not enough moisture in the air from the ocean for me now as it was in Hampton Bays.

I would definently like to move somewhere that was like Hampton Bays and I was surrounded by water.

You just made me realize that I forgot that the question said that money wasn't an issue - sooooo....I would move back to New York in a heartbeat, and would definitely live in the Hamptons! I miss New York
