thank you everyone! yea moehick we will have to play at night. lvsdolphins believe me i wanted to go to work today put i got stuck getting my car out i was not chancing it my boss understood! im here jenn i am just relieved that i was able to get my car out now they are calling for snow toonight! only rwo more inches. sheesh.

The doors open at 7:30 but they do have them open earlier some ppeople do try to come in and buy stuff at 7 but we tell them we are not open yet. I get there at 6:30am so if you get there early come by. I will be there. How was it today?was it crowded at sac?

Roseann, you are LUCKY you got to stay home! The parking situation was horrendous, the buses were all running late, there were 2 accidents (that I saw) on campus, and I waited in line for just over an hour to speak with someone, but couldn't see her anyway, because I had to get to class.

I skipped the SAC altogether today - I had my morning tea at home. Registrar opens at 10 tomorrow, so I'll probably be there about 9:30am - not nearly as early as I thought!

I have to re-do my schedule though - I was hoping to get into a class and planned my whole day around it, but the waiting list is already soooo long, I have no chance.

ahhhh I LOVE school.

I am glad I stayed home! I dont feel bad that i did now. man stonybrook suxs with the parking. I will be going on my break around 9 am -9:15 depending on how fast I can get the sandwiches out.

me too i been off since december 20th and i need the money but i actually am collecting unemployement this week so i am getting paid.but i would like to see everyone maybe tomorrow i will try again.

I don't understand, how do you collect unemployment when you have a job?

If you know you are going back when school starts up again? I don't understand.

I thought you had to be laid off. To be honest that really bothers me. That's my tax dollars.

my job was closed for a while and i had to collect unemployment fo a month and it ends this weekend otherwise i would have not have gotten paid I am sorry you feel that way but for me to make ends meet and pay bills with my DH I had to have so kind of income coming in I work at a college and they close so its eith I dont get paid for a month or I collect unemployment. i was laid off for the winterbreak and you can collect if you are working and your job is not doing bussiness around that time. again I am sorry you feel that way but i needed money for the bills i hope you understand why now.

Aren't you off during the Holiday Season? Stores are always looking for help during the holiday season? Why not take a job in a store during the Holiday season and then go back to SBU.

no because i been going to the doctors for my thyroid practically the whole time i been off and now i have to go to another one in feb. i already did the second job thing and It was too much for me. so please stop i am getting really annoyed.

Well I become annoyed when my tax dollars are going to people who are able to work, but collect umemployment.

Im sorry you are stressed!!!! Do you have any wine around? That always helps calm my nerves when Im down!!! Maybe a nice bubble bath will help you to relax!!!
