OMG...my heart isbreaking for you. Thank you for sharing this important advice with all of us. I did not see other posts saying he was sick or anything...I hope that if so, he is now in a better place.

you know, thanks so much for posting this. it's things like what happened to your DH, although tragically, that puts everything into perspective for some people (me included). i was doing really good for a long time with not sweating the small stuff but lately that has really slipped away and this morning i found myself bickering over not having enough time tonight to go to the movies with FH... then, as a result, i was running out the door and forgot to put my e-ring on. then, after reading this, i find myself almost in tears over your loss AND the fact that i'm realizing i need to be more aware of things like this... i appreciate you posting this because i think it was a big wake-up call for me. after my friend passed away a few years ago i was so good at making sure i never got upset over 'dumb' things and that i appreciated every single person in my life so much-- but i need to be careful not to lose sight of that.

i'm so sorry for your loss and you and your DH are in my thoughts and prayers. we are all here for you whenever you need us. god bless
