FH insured mine through Liberty Mutual. He added it as a rider to our renters insurance. The price per year is based on the value of the contents on your apartment and then the value of the ring.
We also have my ring insured by Liberty Mutual under a rider on our renters insurance. It's very inexpensive.

Re: Insurance for Engagement Ring
I have a question, what if I don't have renters insurance. I still live at home with my parents. How do I get ring insurance? I have had my ring for 2 months now with no insurance and we are going away soon and I want to get it insuraned before that

Your parents can put your ring on their insurance bill, or you can take out a seperate policy with their insurance.

Jeweler's Mutual. They are a bit pricey, but allow for you to use any jeweler you want for repairs.

This thread is quite old. I doubt the original poster is still checking this website, let alone still searching for e-ring insurance.
