Is anyone else dealing with a neurotic groom?

Our wedding is 6 weeks from this Saturday and my beloved is slowly becoming unraveled. He's current job stresses aren't helping....one minute he's happily planning our honeymoon, the next minute he 'can't wait until this wedding stuff is over'.

Its rough enough dealing with my own stress & anxiety, I'm not quite sure how to cope with his as well.

Any advice?????

Karen- I sympathize with you! My fiance is getting stressed out now and we still have 11 months to go! He gets worried about the money since were paying for everything ourselves. I just try to talk it out with him and put my stress out of the way for a minute (which is hard because I stress about everything!) and take a carefree attitude like "If worse comes to worse, we charge the flowers if we don't have the money", etc... I know it is hard because I don't want this to be a miserable experience for us. planning our wedding should be fun, but most of the times the stress ruins it. Just try to remember your wedding will be WONDERFUL because you are marrying each other and you will have a wonderful honeymoon :)

Good luck!

Their prices were $80 pp April through October and $70 pp Nov through March for a Saturday night wedding...includes cocktail hour, dinner, cake, vallet parking, party coordinater to help plan, patio on the water for pictures, and the place is GORGEOUS! The best thing I liked about it is that the two halls are on different levels, so they're completely seperate...and both face the water! I think my room's max capacity is 240, and we had to garuntee 150...and the room upstairs is a bit larger.

Is anyone else dealing with a neurotic groom?

My groom is very nervous and he's 38

I booked Marco Island on Friday. I am staying at the Radisson Suite Beach Resort. My travel agent (friend) here in my company booked it at 125.00 per night for suite/ocean front. Airlines - 149.00 round trip. She booked everything for me.

YAHOOOOEEEE - One less thing to worry about.

Is anyone else dealing with a neurotic groom?

LOL - I wish I found this website sooner!! My fiance has been so involved in everything that at times I wished for a fiance that would let me do everything! All my friends say I should be thankful, but I don't know he is so concerned with every detail!

What is everyone's opinion about sending out "save the date" cards? Has anyone done this; when is an appropriate time to do so? Any info would be helpful. Thank you and good luck to everyone!

Today we pause to reflect upon those who have shaped our character, molded our spirits and touched our hearts. May the lighting of this candle be a reminder of the memories we have shared, a representation of the everlasting impact you have made upon our lives.

You're lucky! I have only asked my fiance to do a few things and he is taking his time doing them! He does come with me when we meet with vendors but I think he should since he should like them as much as I do. It is also difficult because I am planning this wedding from out of town. Be thankful your fiance wants to help! :)

I would say if you plan on sending them, don't do it until 2001. Most people will lose them and they don't have calendars to save the date. It may be a waste of money to even do them at all, because by the year of your wedding, from word of mouth most people will know when it is. This is just my opinion.

Good luck on your decision.
