We will be waiting until the summer when i am off and it will be easier for FH to take his vacation during the summer anyway;. So probably the end of june or the end of aug we will be going to aruba

You can definitely postpone your honeymoon if you feel pressure. Just be aware that Aruba is going to be a lot more expensive in September.

we just went to vermont to get away for a couple of days and plan on having the real honeymoon in the summer. i think its fine if you put it off for a little while

We are getting married in August and going away for our HM around Christmas time when we both have a week off from work. After the wedding we are going away for four days or so on a mini-holiday.

see, that is what i am fine with doing but fh doesn't want to do that and his parents are stressing that if we don't do it then we will never do it, but i saythat's what we should do. we don't have the $$$ and it would be at least 3k to do something nice and tropical. grrrrrrrr....what to do what to do...
