Mine is over 2 years away!! And we have already been together for 7years !!!!!!! It will be 9 1/2 years we are together by the time we get married...

We booked 2 years & 1 mo before the date & time flies! Anything you can get done now - do it!

Mine is actually only a year and four months from when we got engaged......and I feel like it's soooo far away! I honestly do not really feel like it's real. I keep on talking about 'the wedding', but it honestly doesn't feel real. Hopefully when we hit the 1 year until the wedding mark, it will feel more real. Right now, I just feel like it's going so slow.

My wedding is 2 years and a month away from when I got engaged, Now I am down to 10 months and it is getting close but not as close as I would like. I do hope the time goes fast!!!!

I know the feeling. we have been together for 6 years and got engaged oct of 2001...my wedding is 2006. It is worth the wait because at least we will be in a more stable financial situation. The 1st yr is hard enough w/ out that problem!

Another long engagement here.....we're getting married in two years and have been engaged for just over a year. I'm just happy now I can say 2006 and not get 'Oh my gosh that's so far away!'. I look at it this way, plenty of time to save $$ and to do lots of research thanks to everyone's help on these boards. Happy Planning!!

My wedding is going to be about 2 and half years after our engagement (and almost 7 years after we first started dating). When we first got engaged it seemed so far away, and no we only have 4 months left!!

we got engaged on nov 1 03 and didn't even try to think about planning a wedding for 05 - we are getting married in 06 and yes it seems far, but it is just better for us.

I Agree!!!! We are trying to save for a house also!! On top of paying for the wedding... I need a money tree!!!
