well, I am growing it out back to my natural color(light brown). I had it dyed blonde years ago, and whenever I try to dye it a darker color, it stays for awhile and then the bottom always ends up being lighter. So I am going back to au natural for awhile. I had my hair dyed red for awhile too. That was cool.
Its too much maintenace to keep up with the roots. And highlights take too long in the salon.

I used to get some soft highlights but i have dont that is 2 years

I spend a lot of time at my dads in florida, and my hair gets sun bleached..so I end up with blond and red streaks all over..so I have to keep dying it my actual color to keep it one color

me too- if gets gross from the sun and broken from the flat iron so I dye it back to the natural color

100% natural - I am so low maintenance I have never dyed my hair or had highlights in my entire life (well except I dyed it red with Halloween colors in 8th grade - which was stupid cause I am a blond and had pink hair for a month

)

I forgot to mention, if I don't dye my hair, half of it would be GREY!!!!!!

Nope, it's normally a mousy brown, but I have it colored a nicer brown, then slightly highlighted, almost like sun highlights! I'm never happy w/ it though!

Well ummmmm No!!

I'm planning on dying it back to soft black which is my natural color, probably some time this coming week for the start of the holidays.

Right now it's dark brown, light brown, blonde and some other colors I can't quite name!!!

I do the highlight, lowlight thing but nothing too dramatic. Its basically my natural color but with some dimension

Yes. I uesed to get highlights, but my hair is healthier and more shiny when it's natural (medium brown)...not to mention much cheaper!

Like Michele, I haven't seen my natural hair color since about 13 either!!!

Wait, I'm wrong, I did grow out my hair once about 5 years ago. Then about 6 months later I was back to dyeing it again because my hair is almost black, maybe a dark ash brown.

I just recently dyed it back to close to my natural color, and I look pale as hell. I know I will be tempted to dye it again, but I think it's time I go back to my virgin hair.

However, if gray hairs pop up, that's it!!!
