I had heard about it- and then my bro and sis in law had in their house-- and it looked so cool.I have also heard about people using the shards of glass to make mezzuzahs.

Ok I need help with this, where can I get a cool different katubah. We are you and are having a beach theme wedding so I was wondering what sites might have something different. Also where can I find yamukas? I haven't started looking for them but do they normally come in bulk for wedding??Thanks!

nenna-Here are some ketubah sites:
Ketubah.com (I got mine there)
ModernKetubah.com
Allthingsjewish.com
You can find more- just google ketubah.
I got my yarmulkes at yarmulke.com. They were $11.99/dozen.

Re: Jewish Brides-- Ceremony Paraphenalia
My hall had the easel to display the ketubah. We had the ketubah mounted on foamboard at Michael's and then later got it framed there.I think everyone else covered all of the paraphenalia...since I got married at a Jewish center, they supplied most of it.
One of our friends got us the shards mezzuzah as a wedding present. It has been waiting for us at Yussel's for weeks, but we haven't had a chance to pick it up, since we live in Queens and haven't been out on LI when it isn't Shabbat or a holiday.
