Hello all,

Anyone who has used Joshua Dwain or wanted to use him and know of another photographer with similar style? Looking for a photographer and received a quote from JD so now I am just shopping around. I LOVE his photos, but not his pricing $$$. So interested to see who else is out there.

Try JayLim. JD is my dream photographer and also a friend of a friend as well. But she can't afford him either so she is going w/ JayLim. I checked out his website and was amazed. I have an appointment with him this weekend. I also have quotes from lots of other photographers that are similar: Montenegro Photography, Lovemore, Studio 27, Photo DH, NST Pictures.

delena76 JayLim is doing our photo/video....they were really nice and willing to work with us to give us what we wanted for the right price!

I just met with JayLim this afternoon. Without them asking me for my budget, they gave me a really good price/deal.

I'm torn now and don't know what to do after doing some heavy convincing to get my FH to go with Joshua Dwain and LJR Films.

I can't find any African American couples on JayLim's site. Is there any way you could share your engagement photos with me? I need to see how they capture our skin tone. I'm so torn and feeling uneasy now.

That was my exact issue...no AA couples. And seeing how well JD shoots colored skin so well....

I ended up breaking my budget and booked JD...afterall, once it's said and done only the memories and pictures will be left.

That's awesome. We met him since I posted and I don't think we are going to go with him. Your photos will be AMAZING!
