I tried on Dion (style 1978). And another thing, I asked what dress it was and she said she didn't know, it was style #1978. And I said well on her web-site her dresses have names like Olympia (which I'm considering)...she said well we use the style #'s. No offer to pull-out a catalog and help me find the name. I went home and clicked on all the maggie dresses until I found out that it was Dion. AND she didn't offer to put my name in the computer or fill-out a card so if I come back, I know what dress it was. That said to me 'We really don't want your business'.

Maybe I'm expecting too much from these people?!

I have been reading so many negative comments about all these bridal salons and I have been trying to keep track of the ones who have gotten the best reviews and to be honest, I am really disappointed in what I have noticed...VERY FEW bridal salons have good reputations! I think it's disgusting that we are limited to the locations we go to look for dresses, the extreme high prices of the dresses and alterations, and the overall lack of concern for the bride's business to begin with! It seems most of these salons KNOW that if you won't buy your dress there, someone else will...it seems to me that there is NO sense of customer appreciation. They should be feeding us brides chocolates and fanning us and giving us the royal treatment for the amount of money we will be spending!
It disgusts me that these salons stay in business with the amount of complaints I hear. I wish there was a way to get all these salon employess in one spot and have ALL OF US LI BRIDES vent to them at once! Let them know they need to change their attitude....

I have to clarify that I had a great experience with The Wedding Center when I tried on dresses originally. I worked with Josephine and my mom worked with Helene, they were both fabulous. And even yesterday the woman was accomodating and offered to let me try the dresses on again. It was the BM area I was less than pleased with. Just wanted to be fair and give them props where they deserve it.

Bridal Suite was PP (piss poor) all the way around! Can I say that??
