oooo ooooo, I have to share something hilarious.

Last night, I went into NYC to meet my old co-workers for a 'proper' send-off. They had gifts for the three of us who were laid off. Mine was the book Stitch n' b*tch, two balls of merino wool yarn and wooden needles that everyone signed. The funny thing is the needles are size THIRTY-FIVE!!!!! They are HUGE!!!!

Don't laugh, when I saw them sticking out of the gift bag, I thought they were mini baseball bats and I didn't understand why they would get them for me. I am not a baseball buff or anything.

I didn't know they made needles that large. I can't imagine knitting with them.

I just also finished a pair of matching ones for my sister (her mom)...

I'll have to take a pic and post it...

They are quite easy and very comfortable!
