Re: Land's End in Sayville

My friend got married there last summer and she paid $125 per person. I thought that was nuts! The place is very pretty, but I wasn't overly impressed with the food. I have been to nicer weddings that cost less than that. I really don't know what the $125 paid for.

Re: Land's End in Sayville

You can really find much nicer places for a lot less!!! Check ou the Brentwood Country Club...that is where I am having my reception...they offer packages that include EVERYTHING! But if you don't need the package, they offer a great per person price.

Congrats on your engagement and welcome to the site!!! You will see that everyone is very helpful!

Re: Land's End in Sayville

it depends

i am having my wedding at Lands End....I have heard nothing but good things about the place and their food...

depending on the day....whether its thursday, friday, saturday or sunday...and also time of day like day or night wedding....makes a difference

not to mention time of year

also how many people you guarantee also lowers the price...

Lands End is part of lovin Oven caterers and is one of the best on long Island. It wouldnt hurt to make an appt with the Banquet manager and see what they offer...if your wedding is in 2008..i think you can get a great price being that its so far away....

I just loved Lands End.....Different girls have different opinions on food and place....They dont know what the price includes....

i love Lands End too....definitely check it out

Re: Land's End in Sayville

Just a note - - - - my cousin got married there two years ago and it was a beautiful place however, something went wrong with the sewage system and there was a horrible odor coming from both men/women rest rooms.

sorry - -just thought you should know especially if your considering paying that amount a plate.

Good Luck!!

Re: Land's End in Sayville

I am getting married there because I have been to a wedding there twice and it was great. The food is wonderful and the view is better than any place in Long Island. It is expensive, but you pay for what you get. I would recommend looking at it to make your own decision. Everyone has there own personal views!!!
