I vote FT!! I looked at Leonards and asked many people for reviews here's some facts...

Leonards - great gounds, nice drive way entrance, great pictures, beautiful staircases and rooms!!! Negative - staff doesn't direct to the weddings (doesn't pay attention) food isn't that great, many weddings can be chaotic, when service is lax and dinner is late = overtime and even though it's their fault they make you pay!!!!! I heard these negatives from many people!!!

This sounds strange to me. I've never ever heard anything except excellent reviews of the food at Leonards. We had 6 guests come in from Italy and even they loved the food. DH and I loved the food and we are VERY hard to please.

Service was excellent. I'm surprised to see your comment about the overtime issue because my wedding went 45 minutes over and no one at Leonard's asked me for a penny.

Re: Leonards or Floral Terrace?

I'm biased but I vote for Floral Terrace - we chose it because we are the only wedding at a time, the look of the place and the great things we heard about it. The amount of food they offer and the taste of it is amazing!

Re: Leonards or Floral Terrace?

I visited Leonards-wasn't what I was personally looking for but the grounds are beatutiful. --But I never went to a wedding there--

I have been to a wedding at Floral Terrace and the food is fabulous!!! The ballrooom is beautiful and so is the bridal suite!! Also, and this is a big plus for a lot of brides--there is only ONE WEDDING AT A TIME!

Re: Leonards or Floral Terrace?

Obviously I booked my wedding at the Floral Terrace, however I have never been as a guest to a wedding at either place, so I can not comment on which on is better than the other. I think it is your decision and you have to love whatever you chose. Their are pro's and con's to every place, so you have to sit down with you FH and decide what is most important to you both, and then see which catering hall can accommodate your requests. For my FH and I, we really wanted a place that had only 1 or 2 weddings at a time, nothing more.

Re: Leonards or Floral Terrace?

FH saw Leonards and loved it! It had everything on the outside that we could ever want!! I had been to an event their and didn't like the food and when I started searching for reviews and making calls to hear what friends and family thought the cons started to pile on! There were two brides I knew that had the overtime issue where the staff was not organized and the food came out sooo late and the whole event ran into o/t and they charged the couple!
I have never been to an event at FT but I went to the bridal expo their and it was great! I have heard lots of great reviews. I hated the way it looks when you pull up but everyone said once you step in it's a whole other world that it doesn't matter that their are now grounds or fancy driveway.
Ultimately it's what you are looking for in your wedding! Good Luck planning!!!

Re: Leonards or Floral Terrace?

I recently got married at Leonards and there were 2 other weddings on my night and I never once saw anyone from the other party and one of the weddings was in the room next to mine, the staff was amazing they were always on top of everything to make sure you had everything you needed, the food was overflowing and the service was phenomenal. My party also went over, not to mention they opened the CH hour 20 mins early to accommodate early guests and did not charge me a cent. I have nothing but great things to say about them and gosh the place is so beautiful and there are so many picture ops. I think the best person to talk to there is Maurizzio I dealt with him and he was great!

Re: Leonards or Floral Terrace?

Floral Terrace all the way!!! My sister was married there. The bridal suite is the size of an apartment. The food was excellent and it is one wedding at a time. I loved it.

Re: Leonards or Floral Terrace?

I had a very horrible experience w/ Leonards. I was dealing with Antonio and ultimately cancelled.

I can't tell you much about FT but know for a fact I wouldn't recommend Leonards.

edited for spelling.

Re: Leonards or Floral Terrace?

I went to a wedding at FT, I thought it was wonderful, the food was amazing, and the place is very nice once you get in. The only thing I did not like about it was all the stair's. The elevator was small, and the older guests were having a hard time going up and down the steps. Other then that, I would say FT is a great choice.

Re: Leonards or Floral Terrace?

Though I am biased because I am having my wedding at Leonards, I went to a wedding at Floral Terrace as well. FT did not impress me at all. It was beautiful but I did not have a good experience there at all. Rude waitress, felt very rushed the entire evening, JMO but I didn't like it at all.
