DH is 24 and I am only 22. We plan to wait 2-3 years for financial reasons and I am only 22. I'm not ready yet . Sometimes, I just want to have kids so bad that we talk about how we could budget things and we could, but then I see a commercial for Aruba and I'm like 'Forget having kids, I wanna go to Aruba!'

DEF waiting.... we are in a lot of debt that needs to be paid off before we start having kids.... plus we want to travel alone and i'd like to be more stable in my job - i've only been @ my job for 6 months.

we are going to be trying right away...everyone says we are crazy, and i will probally have to agree, but i just know that it wil happen! haha we will both be 25 when we get married

DH is 32 turning 33 in Feb and I'm 29 turning 30 in Feb also...

realistically we'd like to start trying by Fall of next year...but my clock is starting to tick, and I think b/c DH is a little older he'd like kids sooner than later...

Plus it doesn't help that my 6 year old nephew keeps asking when we're gonna have a baby already! He said

'c'mon your married it's okay, you won't get in trouble'

I'm getting more pressure from him on a weekly basis, than I am from my own mother LOL! God help me when I am pregnant....then it will be 'When is the baby going to come out of your belly?'

I'll be 31 next week and DH will be 30 in March. We're waiting a few years because we're both just not ready yet and have so much left to do before we become parents.

I'm off BC now so I guess we're TTC...we're both ready for kids...I've got the itch

I am 26 and DH is 27. Right now, we don't want to have children. I am sure it will change one day, but I am not ready and neither is he. I think in about 5-8 years maybe we will start to consider it.
I never really wanted kids though. I just don't think I can handle the screaming and the whining. :(

I couldn't have said it better I'm 27 and DH is 30, we want to enjoy time alone together before we have kids. Plus they say you just know when you are ready and I am not ready to start a family right now. I want to have fun being young and married before we have children.

i am going to be 24, DH is 26.....part of me wants to and another part of me knows that there are too many things left for us to do first....my SIL is having a girl in March - i am so in love with my nephew who is 2 and now its going to be even worse when she has the baby girl....poor DH .......everyone teases him that he is going to be in for it when the new baby comes - and they are right hahahahaha....even my family is asking already and its SHOCKING!! you would think that b/c i am young they wouldn't say it but i guess b/c i am very independent and have been living with DH for 3 years already they forget how young the both of us are...i feel too young to be married let alone have babies! and its only been 3 weeks that we are married!

id like to done with kids by 30 though - not sure if its possible to have 2 or 3 kids in that timespan but i want to be a young mom...

but as of now we are trying NOT to make babies

We want to start trying after I've sold my apt. and gotten a job. Which means that we'll prob. start trying around this time next year.

I'm 33 and DH is 34.

After DH settles into a F/T job and we settle into a bigger living situation we might start to try.
I dont see it happening anytime in the near future
