Re: Linguini White Clam Sauce

2 tbl spns of olive oil
2 cloves of garlic chopped
italian parsley
2 cans of white clam sauce.

I put the olive oil in a saute pan
add the garlic, the 2 cans of clams, then the parsley. Let it cook for about 5 min.
When you linguini is done, drain it, return it to the pot, then add the clam sauce and mix. I let it sit in the pot covered for a few min. before I serve.

Re: Linguini White Clam Sauce

This is the Doxsee clam recipe. It's what I use.

Doxsee White Clam Sauce with Linguine

INGREDIENTS:
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/4 cup olive oil
2 6 1/2-oz cans chopped clams, drained, reserving liquid
1 8 oz. bottle Doxsee Clam Juice
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1/4 teaspoon basil leaves
Dash pepper

DIRECTIONS:
In medium saucepan, cook garlic in
oil until tender. Add reserved clam
liquid and remaining ingredients
except clams. Bring to a boil; reduce
heat and simmer 5 minutes. Add clams
and heat thoroughly. Serve over hot
linguine with grated Parmesan cheese.

Add the juice of one lemon to
the sauce for added flavor.
