Lip Fillers before wedding

Hey, I am planning to get married to my boyfriend on August. We have started the preparations and last day we were talking about the beauty stuff. My best friend told me that it would be better if I got lip fillers from Richmond Hill as I have got smaller lips.
She was true. I analyzed my lips in front of a mirror. My lips lacked volume. My upper lips are literally non-existent. My boyfriend also teases me for that. I need some room to apply lipstick. If I applied some, it would not be visible. So, I can use the same lipstick for more than a year and still, it will not be finished.
I have heard that lip fillers are effective in increasing the volume of lips. What is the downtime of this procedure? How long will the effects last? Will I be able to wear lipstick within one month after the procedure? Please give some genuine replies and suggestions. Thanks in advance.
