Timberpoint and Tall Grass are def within your price range. We went there looking for the winter of '06 and I believe Tall Grass was 60/person + tax/grat. And Timberpoint I believe was about 70 or 75 before tax/grat. Both only do one wedding at a time. Tall Grass told us they could not accomodate the amount of people we want in the winter b/c the CH has to be indoors and they can only accomodate 125. Hope this helps.

I totally recommend where I got married. Island Hills Golf & Country Club in Sayville.

My wedding was amazing, they are very affordable and flexible and they only do one affair a day so you can choose your start time, etc. People are still raving about my food, and the grounds are beautiful for pictures

A lot of places will work with you on winter prices. I found a lot of places that I didn't think were going to be in our price range were reasonable for winter. Giorgios was even only 85/person which came out to just over 100 with tax/grat. And it's beautiful.

NRC is ONE affair at atime. you will never see ANYONE else on the grounds during your time. it used to be villa vicotr and they had multiple affairs but not anymore...the renovations are gorgeous. it's a great place. if you're willing to do something other than a sat nite, or during an off month like jan/feb, it can be $100 or less.

I seriously can't afford NRC, but I am SOOOO in love with it, that I'll get married in jeans and entertain guests with a boombox if it means I can ahve my receptions there

I wanted to ask, wht do you like about a country club as opposed to another type of hall? this might help us make suggestions.

it's not a country club, but Riviera of massapequea is really nice, we were quoted something around $85 pp for a sat nite in decemeber. It was such a pretty place, and the pics of it in winter are SO beautiful..the ONLY problem is that it' small, and the indoor cocktial hour area is small and I wasn't thrilled with ithe layout. But the big fireplaces on the dancefloor make it so so SO pretty for the winter.

With 180 people there was NO way I was going to pull it off!

timberpoint country club-talk to April she is so nice.
The place is beautiful. It is a nice place if you are getting married in the winter.

Sayville country club-is a bit small, but they have an incredible view of the bay.

Shorty- Stewart Manor quoted me $59 pp for a Sunday night in Nov. '04. We didn't go with them, but my brother's wedding was there and it was great! Definitely check them out.

ETA: $59 before tax and gratuity. Includes centerpieces and cake with all the other typical stuff.

the harbor club in huntington, where i am getting married, isn't a country club, is one wedding at a time, on the water and will be in your price range for the wintertime ---

they dont have any pics of this on the website - but in the BMs office they had a pic of the place in the winter with the snow and the lights and it was breathtaking....

depending oin what town you want .... Rock Hill Country Club gave us a great deal of $65/head .... we got some extras and $10 off each head b/c fh is military and they know the guy .... but even for $75/head ... it's a good price

Hamlet Golf and Country Club in Commack, I had my eparty there and my FMIL/FFIL live there .. food and service is always great they do an amaizing job on cakes... i had my eparty 3 years ago so i dont know if the person is still there, and I believe they are pretty affordable..
