Looking for Photographer & Cinematographer
Hi Ladies!I am planning my wedding and although it seems so far away Oct. 2018, I am SUPER stressed!
I've seen a couple of photographer's, one which I fell in love with but my future mother in law offered to pay and now is complaining that the one I love is too expensive which it kind of is $7000, 10 hours, 2 photographers, 2 wedding books, and a cinematographer + 12-16 minute short film.
I am looking for something similar with thank you cards and 2 albums for the parents as well. Maybe around $5000?
Thank you!

You should call Marco. He is On my list to check first. He's been around and his work is beautiful.. I have not booked him yet but plan to call them soon. I hear he is fair as well. He was at a wedding I attended and he looked like he was having fun with the bridal party.

Try Charles Eames! Hes my photographer and he offers everything you are looking for. Since its his company you can let him know what your budget is and what you're looking for and will work with you to make it happen! He offered me 2 photographers all day (himself and his assistant) and a free wedding album and complimentary 2 hour engagement shoot jsut under 3k. I let him know that one of our good friends used him which is why he gave us the free shoot! I think if you do videography and thank you cards and the extra album it should be around the 5000 mark or less! Here is his contact info!: [email protected]. You can let him know Gabrielle referred you! :)

RE:Looking for Photographer & Cinematographer
I spent a little over $7k for photo and cinematography - that is LOW; your FMIL should count her blessings LOL.For photo, I used Stanlo Photography and I purchased his 3rd most expensive package at $3300 which included a wedding album, a parent gift album, ten 8x10 prints, a 10x20 metal canvas, 2 photographers, all day coverage (10+ hours), and a digital link of all my photos. FYI, you can do thank you cards on your own. I went through Minted for mine. I asked him to send me a really good one in advance (takes 8-14 weeks for him to send the photos) so that I could send out my thank you cards within 3 months.
Cinematography: I spent $3440 with NST Pictures. That included 8 hours of coverage, 2 cinematographers, a custom USB, digital links, a 5 minute highlight film, and a 25 minute feature film. Their packages begin around $1600.
While I could have gone lower for photo, I wasn't interested in doing that. Photo/video was a huge priority for me. With that being said, NST Pictures was the LOWEST I could find - and I researched HUNDREDS of cinematographers.
Tell your FMIL she has no idea what this stuff costs LOL. I will tell you this: you get what you pay for. If she thinks it's too high, and it's what you want, then I would just pay for it yourself so you don't have to deal with that headache.

One of NY top photographer Kinnison Cyrus would be the best person for you.His work is amazing but he does a lot high profile wedding so he don't display much. He'll be able to meet your expectation and your budget.
