Mailed invitations to Pope and President

Hi Ladies and Gents: I took Brendan's great idea and mailed an invitation to the Pope and the President and First Lady. I can't wait to see the return response. What a piece of nostalgia to look back on, especially the Pope.

Thank you for your input, Ladies!!! I still welcome other comments...

Mailed invitations to Pope and President

Could you please respond with addresses - it would be much appreciated. Do you think they will be suspicious when they receive a bunch of invitations from LI - ha!ha!

Last week there was a Louis Armstrong profile on the BRAVO Channel. The closing song was something with the words "We've got all the love in the world." I looked in the music stores but found nothing by this name. Does anyone know this song? It was lovely and I would like to use it for our first dance.

Hi Margaret! Look at Brende's message under this topic. He provides both addresses. Yes, they probably will be suspicious. Imagine if Hillary came because she is campaigning for NEW YORK? ha ha ha ha ha Could you imagine?

I sent an invitation to the President and First Lady, and I must say that I was not impressed by what they sent. I guess I was expecting more of a certificate type of document. What I received was a hand addressed envelope from the white house and inside was a flat card, a little larger than a 3x5 that says..."Congratulations on the celebration of your wedding. Our thoughts and best wishes are with you as you begin your new life together." And then it is signed "stamped" Bill Clinton & Hillary Rodham Clinton. However, it is a nice keepsake
