I would pick October.

and a cheaper price and off-peak? I'm really surprised. Even my wedding in December is not considered off-peak!!

or you can married during february break like me!! blah.... i just hope it doesn't snow, but february worked for us because it was off-peak and sooo mcuh cheaper.

well she got in touch with the church & hall & they hate the date available so i think shes going to pick october!! thanks for all of your help & ideas! now she probably needs help in flowers & all that since she was going to do flowers but now its probably going to be leaves

If I could change my wedding date from April to October I definitely would. I love autumn and the things I see for autumn weddings are so beautiful. Even the colors are so much more vibrant than any other time of the year.

Funny thing...I got married in May (my fav. month) but Dh and I thought about October because it is the month in which we started dating... in the end we decided against October because I was worried that the weather would be all rainy and stuff....and guess what? It rained on my wedding day May 19th!!!
Turns out....I didn't care! It was a beautiful day in my eyes!!

I will say that it was still a bit chilly this past May. I'm getting married in october on the beach as well. Definitely if she's going to do it in October, have it the first week or two so it's still a bit warm (especially since its on the beach and might have a breeze, etc).

Our first choice was the first week in October, but we ended up changing it to the very end of April (it was April 30th, so may as well have been May!)

Everyone complained about the possibility of rain, and it being close to Mother's Day and Easter & Passover, etc. etc. but in the end I was glad we got married when we did.

I would say October for one big reason - more time to save especially since they are paying for it themselves!!!
