so I have 1 groom, 7 groomsmen, and 2 dads

so I realize i get the free groom rental tux but now 2 of my groomsmen are oot on in cali and the other in NC.

They can obviously get measured at the one near them but they HAVE to be picked up at the location I order them from (which would be in huntington)?? Because I know that 1 groomsmen will not be in NY till the rehearsal dinner day which is 2 days before the wedding what happens if something doesn't fit

As far as the guys who live OOT...they are all added to your 'account' or something like that so they'll go towards the groom's free tux. All the guys went together the Wednesday before the wedding and they tried them on and MW was able to fix things...like FH's bowtie and vest being stained and fix shirt sizes. But he was able to pick up the clean vest and tux on Thursday.

I'm really proud of all of them. I left this project completely up to them-from picking fabrics and colors etc. DH was really good about getting everyone together and making sure they went. It was really nice to let them handle it and not worry so to the guys!

1) I believe that they can get measured at any location and in our case, a friend got measured at his tailor (because there were no MW around him) and fh's brought them the measurements.

2) They can pick them up at the easiest location for them. 4 out of 6 of the guys picked theirs up in Patchogue but the other 2 picked them up in Boston.

Thanks for this info! FH and I are going next week. I only have one GM, the best man, who lives in FL. He is coming to NY two days before the wedding and wanted to pick his up and drop it off in FL. Hopefully he can pick it up there, bring it with him to NY, and then drop it off in NY.

Then we have the dads - FFIL is in FL, and he wanted to pick up/drop off here... and my dad lives on the south shore, but I suppose he can travel up to Huntington to get measured. My parents think I live in Guam, so hopefully I can get them to come this way .... they could visit us after ...

Anyone know how long the guys can have the tuxes? If FBIL picks his up in FL and doesn't return it for a week because he'll be in NY, is that ok?

when they order they specify which location they want to pick the tux up from. the tuxes are picked up 2 days b4 the wedding so there is time for changes if need be.

if you have a large group they recommend it. We did and didnt have to wait, which was great

They can only pick them up 2 days b4. They told me they have to return them the following day or it is like a $25 per day charge. i told them geesh at least they could give u 48hrs to return them.

They are strict about the extra day after, but you will get it two days in advance. You can pick up and drop off at any location.

The reason I chose men's warehouse was because of this. They can get measured at any location and pick them up at that location. My cousin is from Pittsburgh so he will be measured at the one near him and pick it up there. He will then drop it off at a Men's Warehouse near us.

But they can be returned at any location. People that live far away can drop them off anywhere!

No appmt nec. they can get fitted at any MW and pick it up at the same location. My FFIL is doing his down in FLa. All the guys went last night, the dads still need to go. We did have a problem though. I bought my dress at David's and got a $20 off coupon for the tuxes. The book price said $159. When they went yesterday, they were told that included the $20 off! I told FH that he should be glad I was not there. FBIL let them have it though and they gave it at the $139 price plus another $20 off if you join the perfect club.

ok, so i guess our GM and FFIL who both live in FL will pick them up in NY and drop them off in NY too. We were hoping the GM could pick it up in FL like 3 days prior to make sure it fit, bring it to NY and then return in NY, but I guess not. Thanks for the info!

One more question about the tuxes: if you go to MW tux, do ALL tux renters get $20 off? I only have three people renting tuxes - fh has a tux so he is only renting a vest and tie (maybe just a vest, we may buy a tie), so we have two dad's renting and our GM/best man. does it matter how many people rent? i know that my sister and my mom got $20 off their dresses at david's because I bought my dress there. does fh have to rent a full tux in order for the other guys to get $20 off?
