I've been to some showers there and have eaten at the restaurant and was very happy with the food.My FILs went to a wedding in the Cottage last year and loved it. I wanted to look there but my date (and most other Saturdays in December 06) were taken when I was looking at possible venues.

I've been there a few times, for a wedding and for chaperoning two proms, and the food has always been so good!

We had our RD in one of the private rooms in the restaurant. The food was great especially the 7 layer cake. Mmmmmm.

Just wanted to say I did a tasting BEFORE I booked. You just have to ask about it. They held my wedding date and I came in for a tasting. They sort of expect you to leave them a deposit after the tasting if you liked the food. I was planning on not giving in to that little rule but I totally gave in after trying the food. It's really weird, FH and I LOVED the salmon...and we never eat fish!

We're booked there...and it's fantastic! I've heard nothing but great things...and we went for food tasting...my fiance, myself, my parents, and my maid of honor. They fed us all (for free) and they've been very sweet and accomodating with any questions/requests. Good luck! I think you'd be very happy there. :)
