The dress is beautiful and you look gorgeous in it.

I've had mine at home for 4 months now and it's hanging in our bedroom closet. I told FH not to peak but even if he does, he's not going to know which end is up. He'll just see a white sheet. The girls at David's Bridal told me to wrap it in a white sheet to protect it in the bag and to leave the bag at least 3-4 inches unzipped so that it can breathe. Hopefully someone gave you this advise.

No, I was not told to keep the dress inside of a white sheet. I do not even own any white sheets
