My First Dress Maker Appointment is Tomorrow! UPDATE!!!!!

YEAH I am going to call her and make an appt. Thanks for giving me her info a while back

You'll have to fib if you want your dress in early. I gave her a wedding date of 12/18/05 that way I would have my dress in before the New Year, leaving room just in case I didn't like it to purchase another one.

It takes her approximately two months or so to make the dress, and she doesn't like working with a huge time allotment.

Best decision I've ever made!

Thanks for the tip

My only question is, what are you going to do if you loose weight in between? I am hoping to do that...that's my concern

Simple answer for me: I'm not planning to loose weight. FI loves me the way I am and I love me the way I am!

If you plan on losing weight, then I'd definitely wait until you get to the point where you're happy and at the weight you want to be, and then go to her.
