Thank you for sharing that personal, inspirational story with us - I wish you and your husband to be a lifetime of love and happiness. And since I'm one for Irish Goodbyes as well. . . had to pass along the traditional Irish blessing - which I'm sure you're familiar with.
May the Road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of His hand

Re: My long Irish GOODBYE!!!!... I'm never one for brevity.
Dear Theresa,Thank you for sharing your story. I caught bits of it in other posts, but never the whole story. As another older bride who didn't think I was going to meet the right guy when I did, I can appreciate just how sweet it is to find someone special later in life.
I wish you nothing but happiness as you begin your new life. You both certainly deserve some peace and joy and will probably appreciate each other that much more for all the hardship you have both been through.
You have helped me tremendously directly, or indirectly through your posts. I hope you will pop in now and then, and certainly hope to see some pictures.
So here's wishing you a day that is as beautiful as you will be, and filled with joy and happiness for both of you.
